How it all started !
Journey from henna page to Virsa Crafts
Growing up, I love drawing and doing Henna. Thanks to one of my art instructor, I got into variety of crafts, including fabric painting, screen printing, embroidery and many more. That instructor introduced me to my creative side and it only grew from there.
I moved to Canada in 2015, had a long break from arts and crafts since I was focused on adjusting into new culture. Slowly, I started doing henna again and the family I was living with was so motivating that I ended up creating a henna account on Instagram in 2019. Working 3 jobs, it was hard to devote lots of time into this, I tried my best to continue to brush up my skills.
In Sept 2022, I started learning pottery, so by end of that year, I wanted to start something official. With few dates of thinking, I came up with the name Virsa, the logo and created the Virsa Ceramics Instagram page. Slowly I transitioned my henna page to Virsa Crafts, so I could share all my crafts on one platform and the journey continues.
